About the Conference
The Young Single Adult Conference is a weekend designed to inspire, connect, and uplift. Young adults from across the region gather to strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ, build meaningful friendships, and enjoy a variety of activities that blend spiritual growth with genuine fun.
Participants can look forward to powerful speakers, interactive workshops, service opportunities, and social events that encourage both personal reflection and community bonding. Whether you're seeking spiritual renewal, new friendships, or simply a place to feel supported and understood, this conference offers an environment where everyone can feel welcome.
Our Houston area YSA Conference will be at Moody Gardens on Friday night for a Luau, dancing, and other activities. On Saturday we will be at the Galveston Island Convention Center for the workshops and classes. Saturday night there will be passes to either Pleasure Pier or Schlitterbahn.
Come ready to learn, laugh, worship, and discover how the gospel can guide your path forward. It’s a chance to step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with what matters most.
Friday Night Activities
Moody Gardens

First enjoy a Hawaiian luau dinner with a Drums of the Pacific performance, and cool off with an evening swim at the Palm Beach water park. Then explore two of its iconic glass pyramids — the rainforest and aquarium and catch a 3D/4D film.
Saturday Night Activities
Choose your Saturday night pass to either amazing locations in Galveston.
Pleasure Pier
Step onto Galveston's Pleasure Pier for a dose of classic boardwalk fun, thrilling rides, carnival games, and unbeatable views. Dinner included!
Open until 10pm.
Schlitterbahn
Make a splash at Schlitterbahn- Galveston's high energy waterpark featuring thrilling slides, lazy rivers, and nonstop fun. Dinner included!
Open until 8pm.

How Do I Register?
Registration is open now! Spots are limited, so if you haven't signed up yet, join our waitlist below — we'll reach out as soon as a spot opens up.
Can I Register At The Door?
No. The event is at capacity so unless you have confirmed your registration, you will not be admitted to the event.
Is There A Cost To Attend?
No cost at all — we're grateful this year's YSA Conference is completely FREE to attend.
How Many Locations Will There Be?
There are 2 main locations for the Conference. Friday night we'll be at Moody Gardens in Galveston, and Saturday we'll be at the Galveston Island Convention Center. Saturday night, you'll choose one of two after-conference activities: Pleasure Pier or Schlitterbahn.
Will Food be Provided?
Yes! Friday night you'll enjoy dinner at the Luau, and Saturday brings breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Convention Center, plus snacks at both Saturday night activity locations.
Are There Going To Be Workshops?
Yes! There are 4 blocks of classes and workshops, taught by speakers from all over the county. John Bytheway and Elder Michael A. Dunn will be our special guest speakers!
Are Accommodations Provided?
No — you'll be responsible for your own travel and lodging arrangements.
Is Parking Available On-Site?
Yes! Free parking is available at Moody Gardens, the Galveston Island Convention Center, and Schlitterbahn. Pleasure Pier doesn't offer free parking, so we recommend parking at the Convention Center and walking over.
Are Non-Members Allowed to Attend?
Of course! We are encouraging all to come and participate in this YSA conference.
What should I bring?
Just yourself! Come ready to learn, grow, and make new friends. Also bring the right gear for your Friday and Saturday night picks — swimsuit and towel for Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn, or comfortable clothes for Pleasure Pier. We recommend wearing your swimsuit under your clothes, since locker and changing room space is limited.
